Gawsworth Park is a 3 acre recreation ground in the centre of the village, tucked behind the Village Hall on Church Lane. The current park was created following a major redevelopment in 2005. The park is owned and managed by the parish council.

Park Management Plan

The council committed to producing a management plan as part of its first strategic plan (2016-2020). The plan covers the period 2020-2030 and has been instigated in recognition that the park will require investment in the next decade as play equipment may begin to reach the end of its usable life. The plan sets out how the Parish Council will manage the park and look to improve the facility for the community.
