Gawsworth Hub is a community run shop, cafe and meeting space. When Gawsworth General Stores was set to close in 2010, the community came together to raise the funds to purchase and refurbish the shop and run it for the community. In 2018 the shop purchased the adjacent flat, creating the Gawsworth Hub.
The Gawsworth Hub hosts a number of community activities throughout the week and is available to book for community uses. It’s a great place to grab a coffee and meet friends and the shop sells all the essentials.
The Hub is run by volunteers and more volunteers are always needed. If you can volunteer some time, please do!
