Gawsworth Park

Gawsworth Park is a 3-acre recreation ground in the centre of the village, tucked behind the Village Hall on Church Lane. The current park was created following a major redevelopment in 2005. The park is owned and managed by Gawsworth Parish Council.

In 2021 a community orchard was planted. It contains 16 fruit trees – a mix of apples, pear, plum and cherry. In 2023 a community garden was added too with a selection of herbs, soft fruits and vegetables.
