Gawsworth Village Hall

Gawsworth Village Hall opened in 1953. It is owned by the Parish Council and managed by a dedicated management committee of volunteers. The Village Hall hosts Community events, fitness classes, parent and baby groups and a before and after School Club.  View the hall on Google Maps.

The hall is available to hire for a range of activities from birthday parties to meetings. The hall is approximately 18 x 5.3m, there is no staging. The Hall does not accommodate Bouncy Castles.

As the Hall is maintained by volunteers, Hirers are politely requested to clean the Hall after each use and take away their waste as there is no collection from the Hall. Viewings can be arranged on request.

Bookings

The current (2025) fees are:

  • Hourly hire – £22
  • Children’s parties (3 hrs) – £60
  • Day Hire (0800-1700) – £100
  • Full Day (0800-0000) – £150
  • Evening (1900-0000) – £100

A reduced rate may be negotiated for regular hirers who provide value to the community e.g. exercise, support groups, social activity.
